Cole McCue - associate director of bands

Mr. Cole McCue is entering his fourth year of teaching and joined the McKinney North High School Band staff in 2025 after beginning his career at Lone Star High School. At McKinney North, he conducts the Symphonic Band and Jazz Band and assists with the marching band.

Mr. McCue is a graduate of East Texas A&M University. His drum corps experience includes performing on baritone with Carolina Crown from 2019 through 2022. He later returned to the activity as an educator, serving as a brass intern with The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps in 2025 and as a baritone technician with the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps in 2026.

Having worked with the MNHS Band in various capacities over the past several years, Mr. McCue is thrilled to contribute to the excellence and strong sense of community that define the MNHS Band Family. He currently resides in McKinney with his wife and their cat.
